Cameraphones are very good these days and they can take a good snap but they are still a world away from engaging a professional photographer whether it be to shoot corporate headshots or cover your event such as a conference or business away day.
Think of it like this.
Like most people, I have a toolbox at home, and I use some of the tools for simple jobs around the house but it doesn’t make me a plumber, a carpenter or an electrician. For those jobs I’ll engage a professional who knows what they’re doing and will do a good job. If I did it, I’d electrocute myself, flood the house and that’s after I’ve hung the doors upside-down.
Also quality photos will do a better job at representing your brand or your company and low quality photos will do the opposite - and you don’t want that!
In a recession there is nothing more dangerous than slowing down or stopping your marketing and good photography is a sure-fire way of getting the message across to your clients that you’re still open for business and you mean business!
Quality corporate headshots of your team, great images of your away-day or conference all show that you care for your staff.
When did you last buy a product from an online store that was badly photographed. Never!
Don’t let your business be badly represented by poor imagery on your website, marketing materials and social media!
